At Home big box store opens location in Pharr

At Home may have more than 80 stores spread out across 21 states, but Pharr now has the only location south of San Antonio. “It’s a regional draw,” said Pharr City Manager Fred Sandoval. “It’s like the Costco store we have in Pharr. No other store like it in the Valley.” Like At Home, Costco’s closest location to the RGV is in San Antonio. To draw it to the Hub City, Sandoval said the city had to offer At Home no incentives or concessions.
