Pharr International Bridge breaks all-time record for southbound truck crossings in January 2017

PHARR — Pharr Mayor Ambrosio Hernandez, M.D. and Pharr city leaders are excited to announce that January 2017 marked the Pharr International Bridge's all-time record for the total number of southbound crossings at the international port of entry. January 2017's totals for southbound truck crossings were recorded at 47,660, an increase of 3,727 (or 8.48%) as compared to the same month last year, and the highest number of crossings ever recorded for a monthly period, according to the bridge's monthly Crossings and Revenue report.
