Four interviewed for the position

PHARR -- As a followup to the Feb. 8th story The Advance published on Victor Perez and his new role as Pharr EDC director, we filed a public info request with the city to see who the final four candidates were for the position. Call us nosy, but that’s what newspapers do: nose around.

The EDC position had been vacant since Sergio Contreras resigned last September to take over the helm of the Valley Partnership, the successor to the old Rio Grande Valley Chamber of Commerce.
