JOSE EZEQUIEL “Joe” PATLAN

EDINBURG - Jose Ezequiel “Joe” Patlan, 57, went home to our Lord Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Born in Knox County, TX, Joe lived in Edinburg for 20 years and served in the U. S. Army for 7 years. Joe is preceded in death by his mother, Dominga Garces-Acosta; his grandparents, Jose Vallejos-Garces, Andrea Quintanilla-Garces; and five siblings. He is survived by his wife, Marisela Bazan; four children, Christopher Patlan of Fort Worth, Joshua Patlan, Elizabeth Patlan, Esmeralda Patlan, all of Edinburg; two siblings, Linda Rodriguez and Bruno Acosta, both of Hollis, OK. Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Thursday, June 1, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 10 a.m. Friday, June 2, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at San Jose Cemetery in Mission. Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
