Nora Longoria’s record expunged

I visited the Hidalgo County District Clerk’s website over the weekend to see how efforts to expunge 13th Court of Appeals Judge Nora Longoria’s 2014 DWI arrest record were progressing in state District Court. “Expunging” is also known as “clearing the public record of any wrongdoing.” In other words, wiping one’s slate clean. An arrest, by the way, is much simpler to get expunged than is a misdemeanor conviction.
