San Antonio Spurs Head Coach Gregg “Pop” Popovich, what’s not to love? Been in San Antone since 1988 as an assistant coach; Golden State as assistant in ’92; and then Spurs’ head coach since ’96. Let the good times roll – won the NBA championship five times, and was named NBA Coach of the Year three times.
And “Pop” hates press conferences. Especially the questions from stupid reporters. Side-court interviews he hates even worse, often giving oneword answers, with that look written across his face that he’d like to chew off the reporter’s head and spit it out.
