Ed. note: I need to call the Hidalgo County Appraisal District and speak to Chief Appraiser Rolando Garza. I’ve spoken to him in the past. He’s explained things fairly well. On those previous occasions we spoke, I’ve called him on behalf of the general public, one person wondering why their land value went up so much? Or their home value.
