The first anniversary of well-known Mexican singer Jesus “Chuy” Quintanilla’s April 25 murder came and went Friday. Shot to death in a grapefruit orchard north of Mission and his killing remains unsolved. He sang a lot about the big-time drug traffickers. Did that have anything to do with his killing? Nobody knows. Or at least the ones who do, they aren’t talking.
