I’m wrong so often, sometimes I have to be right. As they say, on occasion, even a blind squirrel can find a nut.
Such was the case in my May 18th sports column in which I predicted that the Golden State Warriors, led by two-time MVP (consecutive years) Stephen “Steph” Curry, would beat Oklahoma in the semi-finals. Little did I know the Warriors would have to overcome a 3-1 game deficit to pull off the win. But Monday night, so they did, becoming only the 11th team in NBA history to overcome a 3 – 1 deficit to make it to the championship series (I think I got that right).
