Texas Legislature expected to pass new gun regulations

Over the course of the past several weeks, the Texas Senate gave approval to several new gun laws that willnow move to the state House (one is still pending in the Senate). As with most pieces of legislation, some people think the state Senate did the right thing; others think they did the wrong thing; and still others think they didn’t do enough. Me, I fall into the first camp: I think the Texas GOPcontrolled Senate majority did the right thing.
