There’s a big fight on Capital Hill right now as Republicans try everything in their tool box to counter the stroke of Obama’s pen which granted de facto amnesty to approximately four million illegal immigrants. At the same time those same Republicans are treading on egg shells in an effort not to come off as either anti-Hispanic or anti-immigrant. Meanwhile Democrats are enjoying the moment reveling in Republican unease. It is, however, Democrats who should be worrying and not Republicans. There is, you see, a splendid synergy between Obama’s immigrant amnesty and his health care program which together spell big trouble for poor Blacks as well as legal Hispanics. Under Obamacare large employers are fined big bucks for not providing ever-more-expensive health care to their workers. At the same time it is illegal under Obamacare for said employers to pay for health insurance for undocumented workers (i.e. illegal aliens).
