We’re all familiar with the assassination of two New York City police officers (both members of ethnic minorities). They were shot dead by a black man who took a bus from Baltimore to the Big Apple after wounding his Baltimore girlfriend. When confronted by police in a subway station he committed suicide. The killer claimed on the Internet his actions were retaliation for the Brown and Garner deaths (one of which was self defense and the other accidental). Frankly I’m getting tired of seeing felons standing up for the civil rights of other felons killed by police in the line of duty. When men riot and loot and even kill policemen in supposed defense of justice, there’s something really wrong with society. When governors and mayors ignore looting by minorities and let small businesses burn (as they have done since the King assassination), then they invite continued bad behavior no matter how much they decry it. When will Reverend Al pay his mountain of back taxes ($4.5 million) and apologize for inflaming the hatred which resulted in those two police deaths? When will Mayor De Blasio admit that he should have backed his black and white officers when the grand jury no billed them in the death of Garner. Don’t hold your breath.
