You may recall that a few months ago several cities voted to increase the minimum wage. Seattle went so far as to require the full fifteen dollars an hour that demonstrators were demanding. We are now beginning to see the results of that move. Seattle Restaurants have now raised their prices two to three dollars a meal, and some businesses are struggling to remain afloat because of a decline in their customer base.
