JESUS RAMON

ALAMO – Jesus Ramon, 92, died Sunday, June 4, 2017, at his residence in Alamo. Born In Guardados De Arriba, Tamaulipas, he was formerly of Houston and had lived in Alamo since 1989. He spent a lot of time outdoors; he enjoyed welding, loved to hunt, and his yard was always well maintained. Jesus was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Trinidad Ramon; and two sisters. Jesus is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Luisa Ramon; two sons, Joe (Debra) Ramon of Summerville, TX, Roger Lee (Amy) Ramon of Cypress, TX; a daughter, Chris (Rick) Gonzalez of Alamo; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, June 9, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
