PSJA ISD School Board approves raises for all employees
PHARR - The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD Board of Trustees approved pay raises for the 2019-2020 school year during Monday night's school board meeting. The salary pictured on the right were approved.
“We are excited to announce pay increases across the board for all PSJA ISD employees,” said School Board President Jesse Zambrano. “Our compensation package is robust and competitive. As a board, we wanted to send a clear message to the PSJA Family that we value all of our employees, especially our most tenured and hard working teachers and staff.”
In addition to this increase, the starting pay for teachers has also increased to $51,250, setting PSJA ISD among the top paying school districts in the area. With starting pay for hourly employees going to at least $11.50.
