EDINBURG - Glenn D. Shaver, 80, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at his residence in Edinburg. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Myrtle Shaver; a brother, Archie Shaver; and a sister Christine Taylor. Glenn is survived by three children, Isabel (Robert) Aguillon of Edinburg, Fred (Jackie) Shaver, and Glenda (+Paul) Russum, both of Austin, TX; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Young of Grand Prairie, TX, Shirely Reed of Palestine, TX, and a brother, Darrel Shaver of Dallas, TX. Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
