That’s the number of punches that Muhammad Ali calculated he received to his noggin during the course of his long and illustrious boxing career, according to an AP story published last week as news spread across the globe that the 74-year-old former heavyweight champion of the world had died last Friday, finally succumbing to some sort of respiratory distress after battling Parkinson’s Disease for approximately the last 30 years of his life.
