FIDENCIO NAVARRO NARVAEZ

EDINBURG – Fidencio Navarro Narvaez, 83, died Monday, January 30, 2017, at Rio Grande City Nursing and Rehab Center. He is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Juan Ramirez. Fidencio is survived by his wife, Margarita Navarro; five children, Petra (Jose) Palma of Austin, Modesta (Victor Herrera) Segundo of Edinburg, Carlos (Eneyda) Navarro of Brownsville, Esperanza (Oscar) Garza of Buda, Teresa (+Juan) Ramirez of Roma; ten grandchildren, Sergio and Adelina Palma, Adriana and Sonia Segundo, Mario and Alejandro Navarro, Abbygail and Carmen Garza, Eric and Juan D. Ramirez; and a great-grandson, Alvin Hood, Jr. Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
