The story about the severance package paid to Fred Sandoval, Pharr’s former city manager, can be found in this week’s paper, page 1. Speaking to people around town, some don’t like the fact that he got paid a 12-month severance, some do. But no matter how you cut it, $432,500 is a lot of dough.
