Tigers in search of identity, but still keep winning

The Mercedes boys’ basketball team is in search of finding out who they really are, according to coach Rick Trevino.

Considering they started out 12-4 so far, opponents may not want them to figure that out anytime soon.

The Tigers actually started their season 9-0 before running into a buzzsaw of a tournament where they were knocked out of orbit and sent screaming back to earth, going 1-4. Their first game after that seemed to still have them a little shell shocked, not quite playing in sync or with the confidence they gained through the first nine games.
