Edinburg’s city manager suddenly tenders resignation

Cut a guy some slack, por favor. Just when I have about 10 news stories in the hopper, another major one pops up; namely, Edinburg City Manager Pilar Rodriguez announced his resignation Tuesday morning without warning. He began work with the city July 2. His last day on the job will be Sept. 28. He will return to his old job as executive director with the Hidalgo County Regional Mobility Authority (RMA) at the start of next month. The
