The hospice change

McALLEN – Ever since the Comfort House’s former executive director, Monica Melissa (Palacios) Patterson was arrested in August 2015 and charged with murder, followed by a second felony charge in February 2016 for theft from the nonprofit, the hospice has been battling bad publicity. As a result, it’s suffered in countless ways ever since. Thankfully, there is a new executive director on the scene who has a positive attitude that things will turn around, and the Comfort House may return to its former state of financial stability.
