AG asked to investigate another local election

SAN JUAN -- A copy of a letter (old-school letter actually printed on real paper) dated earlier this summer, with the Secretary of State seal at the top, was dropped off at The Advance office last week, alerting us to the fact that an investigation into yet another local municipal election may be underway.
My problem is, I no longer trust either the Secretary of State’s Office or the AG’s Office. They seem to pick and choose which election allegation they’ll investigate. Based on what criteria, who knows. I can’t figure them out. I’ve seen files sent to them that seem to clearly show voter fraud, and the Secretary of State turns down the request to investigate.
I’ve seen that with cases tied to both Edinburg and Hidalgo.
