GLORIA LONGORIA CRUZ

Gloria Longoria Cruz, 49, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017, in Pasco, Washington. Born in San Juan, Gloria had lived in Edinburg most of her life. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Ramiro Longoria, III and Steven Longoria. Gloria is survived by two children, Krystal Lee Longoria of Pasco, WA and Ricardo Cruz, Jr. of Edinburg; five grandchildren; her parents, Ramiro Longoria, Jr. and Ana Maria Longoria, both of Edinburg; and five siblings, Linda Dolores Longoria of Austin, Maria Guadalupe Ramirez, of Edinburg, Rene Longoria of Mission, David Longoria of Edinburg and Michael Anthony Longoria of Benavides. Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, and will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
