FRANCISCO S. “FRANK” PEREZ

McALLEN – Francisco S. “Frank” Perez, 68, went home to the Lord Monday, January 16, 2017, at his residence in McAllen. Frank was a father, son, brother, and friend. Born and raised in Pharr, TX, he lived life to the fullest. Frank was a passionate man who enjoyed dancing and spending time with his family. He always felt that his life was blessed abundantly and was extremely proud of all of his family. Frank left knowing three things, he had God in his life, he was at peace, and he was loved. His smile will surely be missed, but the memories will live on in our stories. He is preceded in death by his father, Salvador Perez; and a brother, Salvador Perez, Jr. Frank is survived by his wife, Rosalba Urista of San Benito; five children, Francisco (Ada) Perez, Jr., Marco Antonio (Claudia) Perez, Myra (Miguel) Navarro, Jr., Juan Francisco Perez, Jesus Emmanuel Perez; nine grandchildren, Andrew A. Vela, Christian J. Perez, Nicholas E. Perez, Zachary A. Perez, Marco Antonio Perez, Jr., Ashlee V. Perez, Amber N. Perez, Ryan Navarro, Lauren Navarro; his mother, Rosa Perez; eight siblings, Irma Garza, Alfredo Perez, Hilda Aleman, Víctor Perez, Manuel Perez, Arturo Perez, Roy Perez, Carlos Perez and Roberto Perez. Visitation was held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, Jan. 19, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment followed at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. “Live humbly, no matter how wealthy you become. Give much, even if you’ve been given little. Enjoy the littlest of moments and always put God first. Say hi to Prince, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Elvis, Dusty Rhodes, Selena and Tom Landry. Love you dearly, dad.
