Pharr EDC executive director announces resignation

PHARR - Pharr EDC Executive Director Sergio Contreras has announced that he will be resigning as the leader of Pharr’s economic development arm to pursue a new career opportunity. Contreras will be taking the helm as Executive Director of the Rio Grande Valley Partnership, the regional chamber of commerce representing the entire Valley. According to its website, the Partnership “fosters the relationships and coordinates the programs that advance regional economic development.”
