Good news for rich Mexicans – if you have $500,000, you can escape the lethal drug cartels and move here. The U.S. Government will grant you an EB-5 visa quicker than you can say por favor.
No more worries about kidnappings, beheadings, your child being abducted on the way to school, or your business being extorted by armed thugs.
Okay, sure, we still have the IRS, but at least they’re a little more pleasant than the cartels. The IRS will bleed you dry, but at least not in the literal sense. Unlike cartel assassins, the IRS guys carry around briefcases and calculators, not chainsaws.
There is, however, a downside—yin and yang. Good news, bad news.
Bad news for local Valley businesses – the rich Mexicans are opening businesses here right and left that will compete
