A day after Bill Clinton's love letter speech at the Democrat Convention, I happened to listen in on Dick Morris' extensive review of what the speech had left out. Dick, as you know, was Bill's right hand man when he was in the White House and was for many years one of the Clintons' closest friends. He is now one of Bill and Hillary's bitterest enemies. That enmity was caused by Morris' intimate knowledge of the Clintons. The song may say: "To know, know, know her is to love, love, love her, and I do," but in real life to know Hillary was grounds for a very different reaction.
