AUSTIN - The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) approved $8.3 million in financial assistance for the City of McAllen consisting of a $7.1 million loan and $1.2 million in loan forgiveness on Monday, June 13. Funding for these grants comes from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund which provides belowmarket interest rate loans for wastewater management projects.
