Yet another Mexican journalist slain

We may have some corrupt public officials on this side of the border (no way), but with the exception of one homicide investigation currently underway in south Texas there have been no suspected killings carried out or ordered by any of them.

In Mexico, the case is quite the opposite. According to published Mexican news reports (those in the media still brave enough to report them), too many elected officials are in bed with the deadly drug cartels.
