Hillary beating Sanders
By G. Romero Wendorf
HIDALGO COUNTY -- Donald Trump. It seems people either love him or they hate him. And that includes both Republicans and Democrats.
The mainstream GOP is so scared that he’ll win the nomination, according to multiple national news reports, that some powerful Republican U.S. Senators, Governors, and House Representatives are crowded together in a smoke-filled room with the lobbyists, special interests and consultants who own them, to either plot a brokered convention or put their money behind an independent candidate should Trump come out on top. Mitt Romney, for example.
On the Democratic side, as much as some people love U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders -- like Trump, he’s from outside the political mainstream (the Vermont U.S. Senator describes himself as a Democratic Socialist) – few doubt at this point in time that he’ll beat out former U.S. Senator and Secretary of State
