Pharr fires city engineer

The Pharr City Commission voted Tuesday night to terminate William “Bill” Ueckert from his position as city engineer. He was given the choice to either retire or be terminated, said Pharr Mayor “Amos” Hernandez. “In the end, he chose termination.”
