Nora Longoria wants her DWI arrest expunged

Judge in the limelight?
By G. Romero Wendorf

Appellate Judge Nora Longoria is back in the limelight. And as was the case two years ago, not in a good way. It centers around her arrest for suspected DWI in the summer of 2014 and the subsequent dismissal of her case approximately four months later.

Even if her attorney gets the case expunged, which seems the likely scenario in a case like this, there is nothing the judge or her attorney can do to ever get the embarrassing police dash cam video or her field-sobriety test erased from the web.

Just go to Youtube.com and type in, “Nora Longoria dash cam video.”

Click on the video, and there’s the judge, arguing with the McAllen cop who stopped her for doing 69 in a 55 mph zone in her silver Lexus, according to the criminal complaint.

“I live right there. Let me go home. This is the end of my life. This doesn’t happen to a 50-year-old judge.”

Those were just some of the comments made by 13th Court
