City of McAllen hires new Public Information Director

McALLEN — After a five-month search, the City of McAllen City Manager’s Office has selected Xochitl Mora to serve as the new Director of the Public Information Office. Mora will not only lead the department’s local and external media relations initiatives, but will also execute citywide communications campaigns by building and expanding relationships to bring the City of McAllen to the next era of community outreach and communication. Mora comes to McAllen after having led the Public Information Office in Laredo for the past eight years.
