Borderland Tweets

Ed. note: Every week, on an almost daily basis, the U.S. Border Patrol’s RGV sector chief, Manuel Padilla, Jr., with 34 years of service, logs on to his Twitter account to release news of what his agents and those assigned to other local law enforcement agencies are doing with regard to safeguarding the border.

• Border Patrol agents in the RGV continue to encounter large groups of family units and unaccompanied children along the Rio Grande (River).

• Border Patrol agents from the Fort Brown and McAllen stations arrest two sex offenders and a gang member in separate incidents in the RGV.
