Jimmy Lee, wearing a Sharyland hat and red pants, dusted the competition and defended his title at the Region IV-5A golf tournament at Palm View Golf Club in McAllen. Playing the best golfers from San Antonio and everywhere south of it, Lee shot a two-day 136 (he was 1-under-par through the first 13 holes, meaning he was a stunning 7-under on the last 23) to win the title again and he will be heading to the state tournament later this month.

The World of Sports
Being consistent in a sport is a good thing. Of course, being good is a good thing as well.
Put them together and you have something great, you have something like a Jimmy Lee.
Lee, a senior for the Sharyland High School golf team, has been the best high school golfer in the Valley for the past two years, maybe longer. He put a firm grasp on that last week as he shot a 69-67 over two days for a 136 total to successfully defend his Region IV-5A golf title at Palm View Golf Course in McAllen.
