McALLEN -- McAllen Memorial High School junior wrestler Amanda Alvarado placed first at the district championship and advanced to regionals and was a state qualifier in 2016.
She is once again ranked #1 in District 6A and ranked #2 in the state of Texas in the 138 lb. category.
