Feds raid Pharr pharmacy

Compounding drugs big business

PHARR – So which federal agency raided the Pharr Family Pharmacy last Thursday on the corner of Sam Houston and Cage, and why did they do it?
 
So far, the feds haven’t issued a press release concerning the matter, even though it was clear by the vests the agents wore during the raid that at least some worked for the FBI.
 
Neither is the pharmacy owner, John Aguedo Rodriguez, saying anything.
 
When contacted by phone on Monday, he immediately asked that we speak instead with his spokesman, Gilbert Saenz, who denied that Pharr Family Pharmacy had been shut down.
 
“We have not been shut down. We are completely going to be operational as of noon tomorrow.”
 
Which turned out to be true. To a certain extent. Tuesday, the pharmacy doors were once again open for business. But according to someone who answered the phone around noon, the “system” was still down, but should be up and running by 2 p.m.
 
But what about the customers who had showed
