A class act: what America is solely lacking

By G. Romero Wendorf

Take me back to the days of the Harlem Globetrotters’ Meadowlark Lemon, whom I was fortunate enough to see play while still in his prime, and get me out of today’s cultural cesspool. I mention Meadowlark because he died this past Sunday at the age of 83. But what a class act he was. We’re losing guys like him and replacing him with what? A white honky like Justin Bieber who wears his undies down to his knees and has no talent? Or some black rapper who makes millions by referring to all women as whores and asks that his listening audience all become gangbangers, smoking crack, wasting a cap on a cop, while talking on their cell?
