Last week I watched with interest the Fox News debate between the three major candidates for the West Virginia Republican Party senate nomination. It would have resembled a circular firing squad except that the black sheep candidate took a step backward out of the line of fire and was largely ignored by his opponents. State Attorney General Patrick Morrisey and Congressman Evan Jenkins spent the entire night tearing one another apart as Don Blankenship, ex CEO of Massey Energy Company, agreed that both men were telling the truth as they assaulted one another verbally.
