McAllen, San Juan looking for new city managers

The market’s good for city managers these days. Two openings: McAllen and San Juan. McAllen City Manager Mike Perez’s last day was this Monday. San Juan City Manager J. J. Rodriguez will hang up his hat effective April 8. Perez said he’s looking at spending more time with family, enjoying the retired life. Rodriguez, on the other hand, is going to the city of Mission, where he’ll serve as deputy city manager.
