Story sounded legit last week

Hidalgo County Judge Ramon Garcia was re-considering his decision not to seek re-election next year, but the question is why?
This is one of those columns for which I have the scoop, but I can’t publish it because I got all of the info off-the-record from several sources, with the promise that I wouldn’t use it even if I didn’t include attribution. There’s off-the-record, which means, I can use it if I don’t include attribution (tell anyone who gave me the info); and then there is real off-the-record (don’t breathe a word of this to anyone, or I’ll never trust you again). I always hate the latter because I can’t write about it.
