Bad attorneys vs. good attorneys

$10,000 penalty

Ambulance-chasing attorneys give the good and honest attorneys a bad name, but I think I’ve figured out a way to screw the bad ones. Good thing is, it’s a way people can make some money off of the bad ones -- $10,000, to be exact.
Okay, first off, all the stories I mentioned in last week’s front-page, above-the-fold story about Hidalgo news, well, look for them next week. They’re taking longer to write than I thought they would. Plus, I have a few new ones in the hopper as well. I’m looking at one school district, and its health insurance seems way out of whack. Had millions in its self-funded account just 2.5 years ago, but is now down to less than half a million. Something very strange going on there. Plus, the Texas Rangers are looking into Agua SUD. Some people must be upping their anxiety meds.
Back to the issue of bad attorneys. I have a friend who got into a fairly serious auto accident after church. An elderly woman ran into the side of his car; the air bags deployed; and
