FAYESVILLE - Tomasa R. Gonzalez, 91, passed away Thursday morning, June 12, 2014 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Gonzalez, 3 children, 1 sister, 4 brothers & 1 great grandson. She is survived by six children: a daughter, Maria Esmeralda Mares of Fayesville, sons, Salvador Balderas, Ruben Balderas and Fidel Balderas all of Washington Mauro Balderas and Ricardo Balderas both of Fayesville, a sister, Maria Luna of Fayesville, 19 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Visitation was held on Sunday, June 15, from 1 to 9 p.m. at Skinner Silva Funeral Chapel in Pharr with a Prayer Service conducted at 7 p.m. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 16, at the Iglesia Pentecostes Rosa de Saron in Edinburg with the Rev. Pablo Guel officiating. Interment followed at La Noria Ranch Cemetery in Red Gate, Tx. Funeral services were entrusted to the care of Skinner Silva Funeral Home.
