TELESFORO DE LA GARZA JR.

EDINBURG - Telesforo “Tele” De La Garza Jr., 74, died Friday, April 14, 2017, at his residence in Edinburg. Telesforo is preceded in death by a son, Reynaldo De La Garza. Mr. De La Garza is survived by his wife of 24 years, Rebecca De La Garza; his seven children with his ex-wife, Teresa Garcia; Elizabeth De La Garza, Esperanza De La Garza both of Idaho, Ester De La Garza of McAllen, Robert De La Garza, Roger De La Garza both of Edinburg, Estella De La Garza, Esmeralda De La Garza both of California; a step-son, Jose Rivera of Edinburg; 22 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; a brother, Conrado Cedillo of Edinburg; two sisters, Lydia Ramos of Edinburg and Maria Sauceda of Corpus Christi. Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, Wednesday, April 19, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service took place at 9 a.m., Thursday, April 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home and Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
