SOLEDAD TERAN

PHARR — Soledad Teran, 54, died Friday, April 24, 2015, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance. Born in Reynosa, she lived in Pharr since 1967 and was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Soledad was formerly employed as a teacher’s aide at P-SJ-A North High School for 13 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Isabel and Maria Irma Teran; and a son, Abel Teran. Soledad is survived by two sisters; Ceferina (Rene) Escobedo, Melissa Teran, both of San Juan; a brother, Daniel (Frances) Teran, of Austin; nieces and nephews, Mary Garcia, Renee Escobedo, Jose Isabel Escobedo, Daniel Teran Jr., Estefanita Teran, David Teran, and Juanita Teran. Visitation was held Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place Monday, April 27 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Cremation took place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
