SAN JUAN – Roberto Mora, 64, died Thursday, October 20, 2016, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Born in Pharr, Mr. Mora had lived in San Juan all of his life. He was the Owner and Operator of Mora’s Dump Truck Service, serving the Rio Grande Valley for 36 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vicente and Belen Mora; three brothers, Luis, Juan, and Vicente Mora Jr. Roberto is survived by his wife, Guillermina Mora; three children, Isela (Raul) Castillo, both of San Juan, Elizabeth (Sergio) Pena, Roberto (Liliana) Mora, both of Edinburg; six grandchildren; a brother, Rudy Mora; four sisters, Elena Garcia, Dora Martinez, Adela Ochoa, all of San Juan, Soila Sanchez of Harlingen. Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, Oct. 24, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, at La Trinidad United Methodist Church, 105 E. Warren St. in Pharr. Interment followed at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
