EDINBURG – Francisca Garcia 80, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016, in Monterrey, Mexico. She was born in Mexico and lived in Edinburg most of her life. Mrs. Garcia is preceded in death by her son, Ramiro Hernandez; a daughter, Delfina Hernandez. Francisca is survived by her husband, Panfilo Garcia of Edinburg; six children, Fernando (Juanita) Hernandez of Mexico; Hilda (Felipe) Hernandez of Dallas, Mayra (Vicente) Hernandez, Mario Hernandez and Emmanuel Salazar all of Edinburg, Ricardo (Lea) Hernandez of Houston; numerous grandchildren. Visitation was from 2 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Thursday, Dec. 22, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service took place at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Interment followed at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral Service were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Edinburg.
