ALAMO - Cecil Vincent Albregts, age 89, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the Comfort House in McAllen. He was the 3rd child of eleven born on October 11, 1924 to Louis & Joseph Albregts in Fowler, IN. He a US Army veteran of WW II. He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Steve “Skippy”, his parents, a sister, Marie and 3 brothers, Chet, Franie & Earl. He is survived by his wife of almost 62 years, Maude, 3 children, Susanne (Henry) Orf, Shari (Tom) Noe and Scott (Wendy) Albregts, a daughter-in-law, Karen Albregts, 4 brothers, Dick, Joe, Bill and Jim Albregts, 2 sisters, Kate Rhiele and Irene Woodruff, 3 sister-in-laws, Betty, Leah & Lillis Albregts, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Skinner Silva Funeral Home of Pharr.
