AVAREE GRACE PEREZ

EDINBURG – Avaree Grace Perez, 6 months, passed away May 9, 2017 at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Oscar Guerra, Prudencio Cantu, Eliza Gonzales, Joe Perez, Quirino Reyes and Julia Reyes. Avaree is survived by her parents, David and Evangelina Perez; three siblings, Bryana, Lauren and Justen; paternal grandparents, David and Letty Perez, Lilia Amada Perez; maternal grandparents, Maria Guerra and Ricardo Guerra; paternal great-grandmother, Ana Perez; maternal great-grandmother, Evangelina Guerra; numerous aunts and uncles; numerous cousins. Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, May 14, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service took place at 2 p.m. Monday, May 15, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment followed at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Following funeral services a reception took place at Memorial Event Center in Edinburg. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to The Rio Grande Valley Down Syndrome Association, 801 E. Fern Ave. #127 McAllen, Tx. 78501, (956) 314-0821. Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
